Sound???

So I am sure this has been asked a hundred times but I can't find it, please forgive a newbie...

How does one get the sound on the exported file out of redcine??

not at the moment, audio doesnt make it through redcine, you can exctract the audio with compressor from the proxies....or use the log and transfer fcp plug in and load your .rdc folder where the r3d files are into fcp...fcp will extract prores files with audio..hope this helps....both are mac solutions----the plug in is at red.com/support leopard fcp6.03 and qt.7.4.5 recommanded

Here's a problem though...

My proxy files don't seem to work. They come on in quicktime with the bottom of the frame all screwed up, and when I play them they play for a few seconds, if even, and then Quicktime just quits. Any ideas???

I have redcode and all that installed - the quicktimes do come up, they just won't play. AND the corresponding r3d shots for those quicktime proxies DO open in redcine...
