New RED Info/Resources Website

I got bored a few nights ago and came up with an idea for a website based on my own experiences after following RED for years. The forum is an awesome place for discussion but things quickly get pushed down into the endless abyss of topics and little chunks of information pop up everywhere.

So I thought it would be good to have a place where all this information can be collected and easily accessed.

I also felt that as Scarlet is going to introduce a whole new range of users it would be a good idea to have a place to collect helpful things like tutorials, 3rd party accessories and just about anything that could be deemed useful.

It's a bit bare at the moment but have a browse and if you have something to add such as information, tutorials or any suggestions on cool things to have on the site then post it here or email me steve@redified.com.

Thanks! Yeah I wondered that as well lol! I just felt it was needed, so if they want me to change/remove anything I'd be happy to do so. The website is not for rumours or speculation, merely a collection what is known at the time and I've put links back to topics so people can read for themselves.

Good idea. RED's often touchy about folks using their name and with Recon i.e. Jim's personal board in the name too you might have crossed the line a bit. I'd recommend looking into another less infringing domain so that doesn't become a distraction to your worthy endeavor. That or solicit their blessing.

Thanks, will have to wait and see, as I said I'll welcome anything from RED even if its a cease and desist lol (although that would suck )

I went with redrecon a) because the domain was available - to my surprise and b) it will be easy for members to remember. Hopefully its not crossing the line, it certainly wasn't the intention, be nice to get a response soon as having it floating in the air would be hell!

Steven, great idea and effort, but before you started all the work on this, I'd have contacted RED for permission. I'd hate to see it all go to waste.
