  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

my order is up and all i want to order is the 18-85 with my camera

my reserve number for 18-85 zoom is in the 500 range

so when can i expect my lens

as it seems i will get my camera with no lens

can someone from red answer this

The 18-85 was the original lens you could order along with the 300mm
but was replaced by the 18-50 while the 18-85 went through a rework.

I ordered the 18-85 originally and switched to the 18-50 to have a lens
to shoot with and The Lovely Kelly told me at NAB that I stll had my place
in line for the 18-85 when it ships.

When Jarred posted the first pick of this lens, in March, there was mention of availability in a couple months, which would mean May. I also remember, before that I believe, mention of a summer 2008 delivery date. So I definitly expect, and hope, delivery will be soon.

I think end of year delivery for the Zoom 18-85 would be a more reasonable expectation.

Things Change... we are still hoping for a late summer/early fall delivery though.
 
Hi Jarred, will you be opening up the option to place a deposit and get a reserve number soonish or you guys going to hold off on that till the delivery schedule side of things can get a bit more organised?

Cause I'd love to give you more money :)
