Tonight 7:pm PST FCP Supermeet- Switchers or Quitters

[Matt Gottshalk]

I heard it right from the Pixel Corps test stream earlier in the day when people were asking them about streaming during the event and they said "The technology company we know and love will not allow us to stream."

Well that really sucks. Thanks Apple.

[Matt Gottshalk]

Typical really.

[shashbugu]

No live stream, My popcorn just went cold

[Imran Farouk]

Right, got the link from above about Apple Critics and following the FCPSupermeet on Twitter, pics and all, so almost like a live stream (not really...)
its wicked to see and hear of the new stuff FCP could have!

[ChrisLyon]

Just follow the twitter hastags #fcpro #fcpug and #macrumors. It will be live enough!

Edit: #fcpug seems to be getting the most updates if you have to pick.

Edit 2: Was just informed that 9to5mac is doing a liveblog: http://www.9to5mac.com/61109/nab-2011/

And a live stream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/foxtrotyankee (Thank's Spanish Charmin!)

[Stephen Gentle]

Final Cut Pro X - rebuilt from the ground up, 64 bit!

Uses Cocoa, OpenCL, Grand Central Dispatch to leverage all cores of your machine!

Sounds good so far!

kinda on the boarder about the looks but given the no rendering and all...I'm willing to get into it

[Kevin Wild]

Ha ha...whoever is streaming is playing a dangerous game with Apple. But I am enjoying the audio...

[Robert Frank]

Sounding good!

[Robert Frank]

Waiting to hear if Lion only or not.

[Stephen Gentle]

Waiting to hear if Lion only or not.

Yeah, hopefully they release a Quicktime X update for Snow Leopard instead of waiting for Lion to be released. (That is, assuming it's based on QTX).
