Will Red LiveStream their new product introductions at NAB 2011, and post online?

It would be very helpful for those of us interested in ordering their products but unable to attend due to work conflicts...

Do they also have an active email list for press releases, twitter or facebook page established anybody know of?

Thanks for any info...

There are usually lots of internet press that cover production news, and post video blogs. I don't see why Red would stream themselves when there are plenty of people covering all aspects of the convention. Studio Daily, TWIT.TV, FXGuide.com, are a few that come to mind.

Actually, someone did stream the big RED party 2 years ago, though it wasn't RED. But it sure was fun having someone walk around live streaming the event for those of us too busy working to attend.

Hoping someone does again this year.

Kevin

I know TWiT's going to be there. I'm really hoping that someone can bring a RED Epic over to their booth. Leo Laporte is a big fan of 4K. Be great if they could find out about RED Epic and Scarlet right from the source; qualm any FUD floating around in the techie community about RED.

Alot of people, including me, will be tweeting about the entire week, and posting on Reduser, look for the threads on the monday the show starts, starting at 9am ;)

fxguide will be there - with multiple podcasts and video podcasts
- with an EPIC on a steadicam ;-)

When its time for NAB, it would be great if we start a clean thread with only links to tweets, podcast etc and another one for disscussion. Mike will the Fxguide podcast's roll out while its NAB or after. Looking forward to them either way.

I'm very excited to meet you Mike. Love your work and your whole concept of fxguide.com

Fxguide will post from NAB. We take a crew each year. So we will post some fxguidetv eps, The RC of course - which is being recorded live on the floor on Tuesday afternoon - way up the end of the south hall .. on the left at the postpit booth. Stu, Tyler, Jason and I will all be there with EPIC footage and an EPIC filming you guys. Plus we will do other podcasts from NAB.

Me and my operator Damien will be on the floors covering the whole thing too, we'll upload videos, we'll have podcasts, articles, pictures, tweets being updated all the time. I think there will be enough information for everyone... NAB will be the date we really kick off swissfilmmakers.com...

Thank you for your replies and I certainly look forward to your coverage at NAB.
I trust your coverage to be much more accurate than pop-tech gear website coverage, which tend to lose many subtle details in trying to be first...

In trying to make a purchasing decision, I'm still initially up in the air over a 3D Scarlet rig vs one Epic S, but i assume final package details, dates and footage will hopefully be clear then...

I'll assume the Red.com Press Release area or Jim or Jarred's latest posts in Recon are best to check for Red's official info to get the story straight from the source first... ...

I will be there with my hot Frenchie wife blogging for the same French site as when I interviewed Ted at Sundance...

but you will certainly need more hands to stay in focus on your dslr, ithink it was at sundance ... and talk to the RED stuff ..... and get everything you need .... and keep pace with your wife ..... *lol* ..... just kiddin'

Hey since RED has a booth on the show floor that means you can stream and upload!

I used justin.tv to broadcast the event last time which worked fairly well.

I'll be first in line on the show floor streaming the surprise and the insanity from the RED booth...
