I would like to rent an EPIC June 6 - 21, and I would like an EPIC-ATOM rig for June 20 and 21. I have some high needs for HDRx during that time...

Who is renting, and what kind of rates are out there? Would like a PM with rates -

I know who the reduser EPIC owners are, but I don't know who among them is renting. And if there are really 250 working cameras out there, there must be other names who are less visible on the forum.

Can we start a EPIC Owners Rental Group forum yet?

Mery, we don't rent, but we can be for hire, either way if we are still in the US by June, I doubt, we will love to see what we can do.

As far as rates a fully loaded 3D Atom rig will run you any were from $10,000 to $15,000 per day depending on additional accessories used,
also need to consider Heden motors vs. C Motion, Ultra Primes, vs. Rouge's etc.

Best of luck with your projects... ;)

Come on Ketch, this doesn't sound like you? Give the guy some hope. You've been on his side of the road before. :)

Or you could even give the girl some hope, Ketch!

I'm sure that these are the prices that these cams and rigs are commanding fully loaded. It is just hard to know, given that there is no EPIC Rental forum, I can only comparison shop by directly contacting individuals...it is not that efficient. But I hope there will be somebody out there who might like to bring their rig around, to work on something fun. It seems there are a lot of cameras available in that time frame, but not much in the way of discounts by individuals relative to rental houses yet.

Which, given my needs and the expense, also begs the question, would it be worth jumping in the -M line myself? Decisions, decisions...

no worries, Ketch - I'm just trying to figure out pricing and make some decisions for my production...

but even with this nice grade of talent, the budget is still decidedly indie in nature...

if anyone can find me a great investing partner, I'll be happy to pay full price for their camera!
