  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there any way to do English subtitles for movie, easiest and the best

I use fc studio
 
I would look to some of the lower cost close captioning software solutions on the market that can export in a format you can repurpose. Check out solutions at VideoToolshed for starters. "Best" will also include quality of the translation itself...

We subtitle TV shows on a regular basis and use Annotation Edit - Google it, it is really superb and allows us to subtitle outside of FCP, generate a XML and then bring our subtitle into FCP for finishing.

Thanks for recommendation. I have Annotation Edit.

i have one question. When I export XML and then open it in FCP the texts scrolls.

And Also Annotation edit itself also exports QT movie with subtitles and is it possible that subtitles to be directly on the movie not on the additional black line below the movie. I need subtitles to be on the picture itself
