  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

NAB '11 "Surprise" Guessing Game

Makes me wish I hadn't jumped for Gunnar 3D shades,

I'm sure NAB will be a display at true 4K or Monstro news,

Wasn't there a post that everything was progressing together? Perhaps they managed to crack the magic formula and get Monstro alive-ish?

Given that's just dreaming so it'll probably be some crazy thing on features or an awesome presentation with the EPICs in use, i.e. like Crossing the Line footage

There isn't a 5K projector though is there for them at NAB, hmmm

I'm in high potential to the Mostro.
because this is what called surprise according to RED world.

My two cents says fixed lens Scarlet is available, or nearly so. Why do I guess this? Because Jim specifically said one of the parts that the Japan tragedy is holding up relates to the fixed lens Scarlet. If they weren't starting to build them, would they have the lens parts ramping up so early? Maybe. I don't know. Still, it's my guess and I'm sticking to it.

So, yeah. Scarlet fixed lens. And the RED crew showing up with 200 of them to sell at NAB to first-come, first-served. Way to start a riot, Jim!

I'm not going to say outright that you are wrong or right. However, keep in mind that the Scarlet's lens is such an integral piece to the package.

The surprise is gonna be something we aren't thinking about. Something totally new and cool...
