Stage 2 Deal still the same?

Hello everyone I wanted to see if the stage 2 package still stands as is. Last time I remember this was the deal for stage 2 holders:


STAGE 2: Keep your RED ONE and get EPIC-X Stage 2 package ( RESERVATIONS CLOSED - Awaiting completion of Stage 1 )

Cameras only eligible if invoiced by RED or having completed the official RED ownership transfer process on or before October 29, 2009.
Keep your RED ONE and serial number is executed. "Executed" means not eligible for any other trade-in offers/credits.
Cameras with voided warranties are not eligible for ANY trade-in offers/credits.
Reservation period over. Payment for Stage 2 deposits due by June 1, 2010. Deposit is $5000 per camera executed for Stage 2.
Cost is $28,000 less $8500 to keep your RED ONE. Net price of $19,500 and comes with: 1x S35 MYSTERIUM-X brain with PL mount, 1x 5" LCD, 1x REDMOTE, 1x Side CF Module, 1x Module Adaptor, 1x Base I/O Module, 1x Pro Battery Module, 2x REDVOLT standard batteries, and 1x travel charger. NOTE: Upgrades available for select monitoring options and modules. i.e 1x Base I/O Module can be upgraded to PRO I/O Module by paying price difference. Details as we get closer.
RED ONE M-X Upgrade price of $4500 (normally $5750).
You must take delivery within 30 days from notification that your order is ready for delivery. Notification order based on R1 Delivery date


Im assuming that the cf module has now been exchanged for an SSD module. Does the price still stay the same?
I cant recall if there has been an updated spec sheet for stage 2 customers.
Just trying to get a gauge of price for my new EPIC X package.

one item i think i can clear up is you have MX upgrade at $4500 which i believe NOT to be correct.

I did stage 2 on BOTH of my RED MX cameras and i paid $5750 for the MX upgrades and as i understand it we then get a $1250 credit towards EPIC X.

Please correct me if i am wrong anyone else, but that is what i recall and was billed as such.

I know the EPIC-M's are a different game, but it seems that they are all going out with the side handles and not the base i/o module, so I wonder if that has an impact on stage 2 ...

Regardless of what comes- I can't wait to get my hands on this camera!

Jarred has repeatedly made reference to rethinking the package, and Jim often reminds us to count on everything changing.

So my expectations is that we do not know final pricing or package configurations for EpicX stage 2

I agree with you totally Shawn. But as such I still have to start putting numbers together to begin to gauge what I want to buy and what can be rented.
Hoping we will see something soon. Gotta free up cash soon.

I asked this question to my Bomb Squad rep yesterday. He confirmed that the $1250 credit will be applied to the Epic-X purchase. Now I just have to find the rest of the money

Eric I think your basic figures are right and I suspect they will pretty much hold or be close.

One thing I constantly remind myself is with the Epic X you will only have 30 days to pay the balance due. Some people were able to hold their Red 1 and spend months getting together the cash, thanks to Jim's generosity. I suspect it was kind of a bookkeeping, inventory nightmare for RED.

So, like a lot of you, I'm sure, I'm trying to hustle up the necessary cash, at least for the basic body package--way way before I get the 30 day notice.
