Chater camera in Oakland... end of story.

[Dan Kanes]

Call Danny Toback at 818.771.0019

Tons of lenses available, and he can have lenses delivered from LA to SF in a heartbeat.

[Jason Beckwith]

Chater Camera in Oakland/Emeryville or Videofax in SF.

Both are great people to deal with. Can't go wrong with either.

well i know danny toback very well and i do rent gear from him and have for the last 20+ years, but i wonder why someone from fairfax va is telling me that chater is the definitive house in sf...erich, gimme some help here.

[Peter Strietmann]

Chater is greater.

Good question. The world is getting smaller everyday, and after 35 years in the biz,and shooting all over the place myself... one accumulates knowledge in many different ways.

(and I know John Chater, he does good work)

Danny has been working on several projects in SF lately, hence my thought in that direction...

that was close to the answer i was looking for, but i was really looking for the use of a 3 letter abbreviation of some kind like CIA or FBI as those agencies are based in your neck of the woods..ha ha ha

ive pushed this info to production....this thread can now die...

Talk to Leigh or Kristi at Videofax in SF. Great small rental house, have at least one Red, lots of lenses, etc.
