Hi All, Sadly parting with my allstar A Mount...

Here is what I have:

Allstar A Mount for Red $225
This Replaces the original Red PL Mount with the AllStar Base "A Mount" It allows for the use of additional submounts, or the direct mounting of lenses that have the Allstar backs attached i.e. contax, nikon, leica R, and more, as well as the submounts like A/PL, A/OCT19, A/BNCR

Allstar A/PL mount $225
This is the PL mount submount that sits inside the A mount and allows for the use of PL mounted lenses.

4x Contax C/Y-A Mounts $75/each
These are the rear attachments for Contax Zeiss C/Y mount lenses to fit into the A mount.

1x Nikon F-A mount $75/each
This is the Rear attachment for Nikon F mount lenses to fit into the A mount.

I have All-Star A-mount ... Really Great Piece of Equipment.

Great way to use other types of lenses in a PL style quick release system. Allstar did a fantastic job with this kit, very well made!

Email sent.

I'll vouch for the A-Mount also. Great system. Allows me to seamlessly swap between Leica Lenses and Optimos. Great combo.

This was one of the main reasons I bought the A-mount was the ability to use Leica R lenses, and then easily back to PL, and to Nikon.

Its easy to be discouraged by the prices of PL glass, and these Leica R lenses are absolutely beautiful. Most of the R's can be bought in the 1k to 2k price range. Ad a focus gear and you have a lens of outstanding quality for relatively low cost. In the mid to longer focal lengths 35, 50, and 80 can be found at 1.4 speed for about 2k each. The quality of these optics are right up with the best lenses ever made.

Or if you like the look of Leica but prefer a "cine" style PL lens you can order up a new set of Leica C's at 22k per lens, but you have to order the whole set, at 175 thousand!
