  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Exposurebracketing, skintones, MX, tungsten with zebra/waveform - interesting?

As a prep for a new production, we did a nice little test:

Setup a 800w redhead directly into the one side of a face, and use zebras/waveform to expose the skin from 100% to 5% in 5% steps.

We didn't meter the stops from the highest to the lowest, the main pont was to see where on the waveform when the MX was set to 800 ISO, we found to get "usefull" skintones.

as "usefull" is a slightly subjective term, I won't post our results, but I could publish the test with r3d's, metadatasetting development, and proxy-development and online settings, if it is an interesting test.

If it is interesting, give me until next wednesday...

We found it pretty informative...

Gunleik, I would be very interested to hear your results and the see the R3D files.

Thanks Gunleik, would love to see them. Every bit of info is helpful.
