RR card to Macbook Pro via PCI express slot?

[Villing Chong]

Hi,

I've been asked to transcode and set so I've been looking to hire a RR card and a tower. I came across a company with a RR card in a PCI express enclosure so that I can plug it into a Macbook Pro. Will this still transcode in real time?

I hope that Mobile Rocket is what they mean when they say 'custom built enclosure'. Their website just shows a picture of the computer card...

I'm emailing them now.
