My thread in audio (http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53904 ) didn't seem to drawn an answer so I'll try in here.
Recently I tried recording sync sound for the first time with my Red One. Initial tests were done through a Sound Devices 744 but I did followup tests with one line from the mixer and the other directly from a microphone and plugged right into the camera.
When played back using the 64-bit PC flavor of RedCine-X v.356 (on two separate computers) there was a significant audio delay on the recorded audio track(s). When I exported a QT out of RedCine-X the audio was in perfect sync. When dropping the R3D files into PremiereCS5 the audio was also in perfect sync.
So why the delay in RCX? Is this a known problem or is there a setting that needs to be clicked to enable sync'd sound?
