  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

FS - Red One Body w/Power Pack and Base Production Pack

Changed some of the description to be a little clearer. Please PM if interested. Thanks!

Okay, first this is a REAL NAME Forum ;) http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32432

I like to wish you good luck with your sale, but you have the info Wrong..

Retail price for the Red One Body was $17,500, the New Retail price for the Red One on the store now of $25,000 INCLUDES the NEW MX
Sensor, so any one purchasing your camera will need to pay $5,750 to upgrade it to the MX sensor as sold in the store for $25,000.

You're right Ketch, sorry. Changed that just now. Again we are aware folks would have to upgrade if they wanted the MX chip, so offers should certainly reflect that. Thanks

What serial #?
When did you purchase?
Does it qualify for Epic Stage 3 upgrade, if so will you do lease agreement and facilitate upgrade?

Serial Number is listed above now. No lease agreements please, we are looking to sell. Thanks

We are based in Los Angeles but are willing to ship. Some folks have been wondering if we have the original invoice and paperwork - yes we do. Feel free to PM me with any questions or interest. I can provide photos. Thanks!

Most importantly ... Go strap that puppy to a fire truck ASAP. Red gave us footage of a fire truck. You have the power to give us footage from the fire truck. :patriot:

Secondary ... Are you 100% sure that you purchased that camera in a fashion that will allow you to qualify for Stage 3? I have never understood how the lease option (vs. outright sale) was acceptable, but that seems to be the only path allowed by Red.

Yes Peter, it's a standard lease deal. No change in ownership, so no problem with Stage 3.

It's very simple as I understand it, only cameras purchased prior to ?29th October 2009? qualify for Stage 3, and only if still owned by original owner. Upgrade right is a Good Thing, so to avoid destroying it, it's quite common to lease a camera on the understanding it'll have to be returned to RED at some point if & when the owner exercises upgrade option; I'm cool with that.

And my FD have already expressed interest in 'training videos'!
