Hey guys, just wanted to give you the heads up that NBC will premiere Harry's Law, a new series shot entirely on Red ONE MX cameras on Monday January 17th at 10pm.

The series star is Kathy Bates, and all episodes after the pilot are now being conformed using RedColor2 and RedLogFilm. DP is Michael Lohmann, with 3 Cameras running almost all the time.

Series site is www.nbc.com/harrys-law .

I saw the finished pilot just before Christmas and it was really quite good.

Always good to hear about another show being shot on RED. I'll definitely be taking a look - Congratulations, Tim.

Congratulations Tim, I look forward to watching it. I see that another NBC, shot on Red, show is The Cape. The 2hr. premiere is tonight.

Glad I wasn't just seeing things. It was up on the screen long enough that I was really curious why they hadn't removed it. The scene that is being discussed occurs while the hero of the story is training. There is a low shot of the main character punching a heavy bad, and when he moves out of the way, there it is. :)

Why is the video compression so lousy? I've seen a lot better HD video on vimeo from lesser cameras. What is NBC doing?

I haven't seen the show, but I'm assuming what he's talking about is the camera's sensor protection. It does that when an area of the sensor becomes too over exposed.
