  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Sword up.

Nice

WOW. that is insane, the ideas are already flowing. I want to make a short that involves this kind of stuff. Damn. Cool.

haha, me too. this reminds me of the shot in lock, stock, and two smoking barrels. i can see this as a character shot of someone going into battle... or somebody holding onto something in a tornado... i like it.

After watching it 4 times in a row, my head hurts. so maybe not a whole short, just a few quick bits :P

Hey Mark, saw X a while back.. Beautiful work. Are you based in LA now?

Someone needs to make a 3-4K version of the GoPro.. Ehherm.

I guess the Scarlet Fixed would be nimble enough for helmet/pole cam, in a magnesium version?

Thanks, Ace. Yes that was a fun movie to shoot. It was probably one of the first to be shot on the MX sensor, and it was so exciting being able to experience a whole new kind of cinematography ( all those largely available-light night scenes). Glad you liked it. I'm based in LA for now. In Sydney regularly, though.

I went shopping for a gopro today. All out of stock. It seems the walk off the shelves.
I'd love to buy one for my son. (4year old). I showed him the Gopro website this morning, and his jaw hit the floor. I think he'll grow out of his Spongebob Camera ( xmas gift - similar form factor) pretty soon.

Thats great, Cinematographer at 4! Never came to mind, but the GoPro is certainly an excellent child-proof learning camera.

X was exquisite, really. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGEpGkApdTI for those who are wondering)

I'm having a sea-change myself, moving with my partner to LA around April next year. Good to see fellow gum leaf mafiosi!
