Wow, really nice! Like the framing and the grade.

Seems like the close up of the boot towards the end was slowed down in post, or maybe Vimeo artefacts? If so, why not in camera?

Great job, really like it.

I will ask the director. I remember that we shoot some slow motion scenes of this closeup but we hadn't enough Light. The whole shoot was extremly low budget. You won't believe how small our budget was. But we did our best :-)

Here the director speaking :)

First of all, thank you for the kind words.
You are absolutely right, the close up of the boot was slowed down in post. Originally we did have a shot that was natively recorded in 50p, but it ended up being unusable so we had to come to peace with using the take that is now in the final version of the clip.

Since the whole shoot was more than less improvised, without any budget, and without previously knowing the location, some shots took way longer than expected, so we ended up going over schedule, thus not having any more sunlight, hence not being able to shoot in higher frame rates...cuz you couldn't see the damn shoe! lol.

As for the post. We decided to chop the whole thing with Premiere CS5 instead of FCP. I was hesitant at first, but it did end up being the best choice.
Seriously, Premiere chops native R3D files like butter, it's astonishing!
(Really curious to see where apple is gonna take FCP early next year)

Last but not least I have to say that Adrian Topol made miracles happen for this clip to exist. So a big thanx goes out to him and his team at Lopta Film. You guys are great!

anyway,
I'm glad you guy enjoyed the clip!
