  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Make that the tool of choice for several $200,000,000 to $300,000,000 movies. :-)

I'm having lots of fun telling friends and clients that we'll soon be shooting on the same camera as The Hobbit and Spidey and, you know, lots of other huge movies like that. :D

As it is soon to be an anneversary for RedUser, I think it's fun to see how many of the guys from the original DVXuser life of the RedCameraConceptIdeaDreamThatMightComeTrue section, which still is hanging in here...

That's some achievement, too...

The userbase will simply be insanely diversified as the webspaces has been a constant source of education and inspiration for all of us.

I have thought that if i didn't happen to live in the middle of a forest, I probably wouldn't have found my professional community "all over the world", and I would thus not have been involved with the kind of productions I am now working on...

Kind of funny...

And Congratulations.

And thanks

Cheers!

Well, since it's technically "tomorrow" (geez you people, go to bed! I'm trying to get some work done!) you wouldn't be breaking your promise if you posted now...

Jarred and I were driving to the Spider-man set last Friday and I said that "this exact moment feels like the needle just moved from the right to the left... past zero". Truly a special moment in time. I mark it as Friday December 17th, 6:30pm. Everything changed. Everything...

Jim, I wish I knew you personally so I could shake your hand and congratulate you on making the impossible... possible. I never thought there would be a bigger game changer than the Red One, but Epic is poised to really shake things up. Merry Christmas!

Well then... stop by RED Studios Hollywood. I'd love to meet you.

Oh yes Merry Christmas RED - may all your 2011 ambitions be realised. Have a great one.

Cannot wait to open up some footage in Redcine sometime next year.......soon

Hello Jim,
is this to be used for both red ONES and EPICS? and is it the same as the last build you guys released yesterday?

P.S we need to know about your new year's resolutions ;)
Merry Xmas n happy new year!

Came to download the 356, but skipping right to this one. I feel bad for Deanan having to do two upgrades in a week. Let me know if he needs some Red Bulls to keep up with Jim ;)
