First off I just want to say I signed up today to the forum and am excited about what I can learn from you guys. I've been a panasonic user and dvxuser member for awhile but I've been reading a lot into RED and I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction where I could download some sample footage to practice color correcting in Color? Even if it's one shot, I'd like to get a feel for the workflow. I'm in fcp world.

Thanks,
Josh

There used to be a site, redrelay I think, that had some RED sample footage available. Haven't visited myself, don't know if it's still around.

To be honest, a single shot's not going to do much for your workflow. I tried the same thing when I first started and still got knocked on my ass when I did my first full project. Can't hurt to get a feel for it, of course, but don't assume you're going to work everything out and have a perfect workflow. Every project's a little different, and the big things you're going to have to learn to deal with (spanned clips, midnight TC jumps, bad copies/dropped frames) aren't going to be present in a sample clip that someone's posted online.
