Hi
I have two video cards in my mac pro 2010
GT120 and Gtx 285
Typical configuration to run Davinci.

My monitor is hooked up to GT120, the 285 is running to accelerate Davinci.

My question:
While running After effects (CS5), open Gl uses only GT120, can I change preferences and use my GTX285 instead?

Thanks

Albert

Thats a good question... When ever I run anything other than resolve I always plug my display into the gtx. It seems to do the trick. I get much better preformence doing that when running fcp, ae, etc.

I have been trying something similar, utilizing a GTX 470. The hackintosh community has been success in using a GTX 480 as an accelerator for openGL in CS5 applications. The amount of information utilizing an actual MacPro is significantly less. I have been searching here and here.

Please let me know if you find any additional information.
