What Happened to the Apple Gamma Thread?

I did not know Red allowed such a behavior. unless there was profanity or threats of any kind.

and maybe good info was divulged.

This makes the most sense to me. RED and Jim don't
strike me as the ones to be threatened or pushed around.

But if some one higher up made a courtesy call to Jim and explained
and showed that the gamma issue "REALLY" had been resolved, this seems
like Jim would as a good courtesy back would end/remove the thread.

Jim has always struck me as one with incredible sense of manners and respect.

Regardless I filled out the form for the Apple complaint comment
thing pasted/linked in the first page. But I never chimed in that I
did it in the thread.

Some how I bet a lot of REDUSERs did the same thing.

Nothing like a army of REDUSERS (tyeing up your comment servers
for a while) to get your attention.

I imagine that Gamma complaints consist of 90% of the submissions that form gets. And they've been getting them for a decade or more. To date that's resulted in Nada zilch. I doubt today was any different.

The thread was about apple's QT not about RED. Red has nothing bad that people can say so passionated about. I read most of the posts and none of them said nothing negative about RED. so your comment is moot. Hence no Reasonable reason for RED to pull it down.
I do agree that you must follow the rules. and if your post is in violation of the rules, RED has the right and obligation to dele it. but if it is in compliance and deleted anyways just because some one fells like it, that is censorship. and that is not allowed in this country by any american because this is not china.
I do not think Censorship is one of RED's Policies. some one just got annoyed by the baseless, vulgar comments. just like I did, and decided to remove it that is all. Wrong, but Done.
