Hey everyone,

We just finished shooting 2 days for my final student film. After reviewing some of the footage I noticed, is missing information. In final cut it shows a blank grey frame every couple frames or so.

We shot on a Red One MX at 4.5k. Does anyone know what is going on, or if I can retrieve the footage.

Thanks,

Chris

Do you still have the original media to confirm the problems are there and not just on the copied files? What type of media were you shooting to?
Thanks,

Sean Ruggeri

Well we rented, so everything is back at the rental house and they formatted the drives...

Gotcha, thanks. Any loud noises, rapid camera movements or other causes for vibration/turbulence? It sounds like you may be dealing with dropped frames. Were any dropped frames noticed in the DROP counter on a RED LCD/EVF?
