This is very old school. The Milk Girls were shot with Frankie (way before the 1st RED ONE). I dusted off the old file and hit it with new color science just to see what was up.

1st is with the equivalent of REDlogFilm (adapted for Frankie footage) and the 2nd just has a quick curve added. 5 seconds of grading so don't read too much into it...

Ahhh ..... the good old milk girls ..... seems like just yesterday I was totally blown away by this footage!

Congrats on the last few years and many more to come!

Jim, it was specifically that footage that convinced me that RED was for real and I wanted to be a part of it. Fun to see it again and it is a great example of why we shoot raw. Where did you shoot them, btw?

Greatest RED flic ever!
Brings a smile to my face after all these years.

That was shot in the parking lot of the 1st RED building in Lake Forest. :-)

I remember seeing this shot and that one of the reason why i'm excited to have RED ! Great to see the power of RAW !!

what lens was this shot with?
and is Frankie the wooden box camera?
and back in those days was the R3D working or was it a uncompressed capture?

OMG the milk girls !!!!!
I remember Ian Bloom showing me this early 07 and mentally my jaw dropped
first time seeing resolution and staring for minutes on end at that single hair blowing in the wind ...

You Rock JIM YOU surely RoCK THank YOU THank YOU. My business partner actually hit me up to check it out.

The milk girls were and will always be my favorite Red image. It looks beautiful. My goodness, REDcolor2 REDgamma2 is definitely something else. Very impressive. Even for the nay sayer, pixel peepers, trolls, etc, this picture from 4 years ago is still superior to almost every Digital motion picture camera out there, except of course the Red-MX

I remember when you said you could stop because you had a camera you liked in the Red One. This keeps getting better. You're the biggest addict out of all of us. Contests on your milk girls trophy and all the rest.

Thanks

Time to bring them to the studio, and do a shoot with Epic!

I pulled some footage from the first short I filmed on my Red into Redcine-X and it blew me away. There was stuff that I'd swear was clipped, and poof!, it was back.
