Screen Grabs from 'The Artist Studio Series'

[Piers McGrail]

Hey,

Here are a few grabs from a project I'm shooting for Irish artist John Beattie, which focuses on the painter Thomas Ryan. Shot on Red with a couple of Superspeeds.

There are a few more grabs over here.

Very beautifully composed shots and great latitude!!!
I would be very interested to see a trailer or some sort of sequence if you are allowed when done.

Love the fire place

[Shane Betts]

Gorgeous work! Just gorgeous. Have to say, I love what the Super Speeds bring to it as well. I really like the look of these cameras with lenses that aren't amongst the modern clean clinical set.

Thanks for the comments guys! It is to be screened in a gallery next year so I'm not sure if there will be a trailer but I'll try to get hold of an extract to post here.

Yes Shane, I really like the SuperSpeeds and more recently the Standards too. Hard to explain but they do seem to have a pleasing 'character'.
