So when transferring or coping from a red drive to a backup drive the person trashed the digital magazine info and I was wondering is there a way I can get it back? Final cut color needs that info.

Please help

The digital magazine information?

I was under the impression only the camera uses that. Which part of those files does Final Cut Color need to work?

not really sure It seems to use those gray icons.. you know next to the first folder you have it has a gray square thing that says digital magazine.

Do you mean the two files on Red magazines named:

"digital.magazine.profile"
"digital.magdynamic.profile"

?

I had a good search around, and in almost every thread except one I could find, those magazine profile files (while always good practice to keep from an archival point of view) have, so far, not been essential for postproduction.

In the single thread I found where it was suggested that there might be an imminent use for them apart from in camera, I'm pretty sure the comment came AFTER Apple Color was already in use in Apple Workflows, so they can't have been essential to Apple Color working with Red R3D files (which all have embedded metadata anyway).

I should say though, being mainly a shooter, I'm by no means an Apple Color expert. To get more of a response, this is probably a question better asked in the Apple Workflow section:
