What would be the approximate "premium" or net additional cost to a Stage 2 Epic X reservation holder to get one of these?
It looks like about $25,000 more then stage 2 for a handmade Epic. And you don't get that accessory package.
After reviewing this thread I am more convinced than ever we should build these machined, hand built bodies. I'll announce a price (probably around $45K just for the brain) and see if anyone wants them.
How does this time schedule influence the Scarlets? Will they also be out before NAB '11?

We will learn a lot from the process. If no one wants them, I'll keep them for myself...

Obviously this means that not only is the hardware ready... but the firmware must be as well. This is pretty exciting stuff.BTW... if we DO do this program, a handful would be shipped in Dec. and more in January.
