Hi all,
As some of you know, I've been building sliders that can handle the red with a 2575 head or smaller. See here: http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=50434 I now have a manufacturer in place and will submit an order to them in December.I'll make an initial order for 10 sliders but I'd be interested to know what people prefer.
I've sold quite a few 4' versions but I am partial to the 3' as I find myself using only that much travel and it's a handy size to transport. The price is not significantly different.
For those of you who rent and use one of the current heavy duty sliders; silent cat, original slider, chapman etc, what size do you prefer?
Thank you for your input,
Shane.

+1 for 3' or even better 32" which is just under the width of the average door jamb.

I never thought of that. Do you mean that it would be on a dolly and could push through a door?
Thanks Evin.

I'd vote for a 4'. I'm often using it in place of a dolly, and a little bit more travel helps.
