Stage 3 - What will you do with your extra LCD?

I had it in my head that we would have dual lcd's. One for the operator and one for the assistant. Basically our current 5.6" and the 2.5" that comes with stage 3.

Is there any way to have this work? I just started thinking about it and thought that might not be a go.

There certainly are going to be several ways to have duel monitors. Until all the conectors and accessories are in place I can't be sure what the best set up is going to be, but you will have choices.

Sorry I don't have attribution, but I know I've asked and epic has multiple monitor paths so just like RED One, this isn't an issue. And the even better news is that they are able to be configured to differing output configs, something you can't do with our current cameras.

I also remember reading that both display ports on Epic/Scarlet will work with both Red EVF and LCD which is great news - two Red LCDs no problem, unlike the Red One.

As far as I remember from IBC, the brain only has one LEMO monitor connection, so you would need the I/O module to run two Red monitors, or even an EVF plus an LCD. But there are always the HD-SDI and HMDI ports to run compatible monitors.
