RED ONE MYSTERIUM-X
RED LCD 5.6"
RED CF MODULE
RED CF CARD 16GB x 6
DRIVE CABLE 6'
RED CHARGER
RED BRICK (6-pack)
DC POWER CABLE (10')
RAIL COMPON. BASE
BRANDED CAMERA CASE
NIKON MOUNT
RED ROCKET BT

Thats my list. (Im getting a mac pro as well)

I'm getting nikon lenses and a PL mount lens t3(slow I know)

is there anything I need to make this work that I have forgotten.

I would have a look at the A-mount, rather than the RED Nikon mount. Much sturdier, and you could use both your Nikon and PL-mounted lens (plus a number of other lens mounts.)

I would also think about getting the 7" LCD instead of the 5.6" one - better quality.

Yeah. How are you going to hold your camera steady? What are you going to do for sound? Who are you trying to impress with a branded camera case? Thieves?

Thanks! Where can I purchase the A-mount?
If you are Nikon only the Prolock will give you the best mounting option with positive locking like PL mount and G lens iris control integrated into the mount.
No modifications to the lenses are necessary.
We are giving you options- YOU pick what fits your work style....:yesnod:

Drive cable? No drive.
You will need a cable for that LCD.
The RED branded case is not great - inevitably, I want to change around my Pelis inside over time, but the RED foam is all rigid, and glued in, and not well suited to changing. And it has RED melted into the cover, bad.
The HOODMAN hood for the red LCD's are required equipment, if you ask me.
Dont see a battery plate - the ET battery plate adapter and rod mount are the only thing we'll use. Still need a RED bat plate.
The ET hybrid baseplate and arri plate are also required accessories, IMHO.
If using drives, the ET drive mount.
Could skip the ET drive and battery mounts and use the RED combo drive/battery mount but its heavy and not as good.
The A Mount is a no brainer.
Get not one but 2-3 good CF readers, they get hot an cause problems so we swap them back and forth. The LExar FW 800 unit has served us well (x3)
The CF cards are very nearly obsolete - see various SSD threads, but, not quite there.
Our Mantis or a similar handheld rig are nearly required for handheld work.
ALWAYS carry spare drive, EVF, LCD and battery plates/cables - they are the only thing we've had truly, really, fail, and when they fail, they FAIL.

Matt box? Filters? Glass? Head? Sticks? 12V red brick charger adapter? top mounts? rods? 15mm/19mm adapters? Quick releases for LCD arm? Chiropractor on retainer?

Sorry to hi-jack your thread, but did you look into the requirements (best possible) for the card?
Were waiting on our 12-Core Mac Pro's but I read somewhere here that the Mac Pro 1, 1 would suffice.
I have a few and but wondering if I should stick with Leopard instead up moving up to SL?
Any tips would help :)
