  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Soooooo.....Viewfactor......

So it seems that Viewfactor have finally done a runner with a our money. Does anyone know any different?

Many many many months since anything and all emails rejected and can't get through to anyone on the phone lines...leads me to the inevitable i always thought was going to happen a long time ago. It's unfortunate but it just now looks though Curt talked the talked and couldn't ever deliver...in the end the tech was well beyond him and he just couldn't make it work. A few lousy GPIO triggers (that mostly worked) and cables was it...what a ride...i suppose we all get done over once in our lives and get conned over with our money. I guess it was only a couple grand and not a lifetime investment.
 
To me they look very much alive, and isn't there allready a thread for this?

It's a long wait... I know.
But I think that Curt is a good guy. So, I can wait a bit more.

2 plus years, wow that is some faith you have there. I bailed at year and a half
after being lied to.

Not saying you should bail, just admire your faith
 
Reminds me of the Carrion monitor story, a $2,000 lesson in trust and the weakness of Reduser as a reliable business channel. Oh well...

Corrado, forget about the Inclino and Impero they will never happen. I had them and sold them. I think Curt is after new products for HDSLR.

Maybe you're right. The cages are (quite) simple products dedicated to a much larger audience...

But if I were Curt, I could not sleep peacefully. I do not think that he's able to sleep in peace too.

Let's see.
 
Sorry I stopped to read the viewfactor thread but, did they ever deliver the imperio and inclino?

I can see in their shop they are on back order.

The shipped something like a hundred of them but then they stopped to redesign some parts.
