Lot of four (4) Kino Flo ParaBeam 200 professional lighting fixtures. These are fantastic directional soft light fixtures that use parabolic reflectors to give fluorescent, energy efficient Kinos the throw of conventional, power hungry tungsten soft lights. The photometrics are superior to a Mole Baby Softlite, and approach the Mole 2K Zip (according to the their respective manufacturer's published photometric data, the Kino Flo ParaBeam 200 puts out 22 foot candles at 12FT and the Mole 2K Zip Softlite puts out 25 foot candles at 12FT). Consider that the ParaBeam 200 draws 1.1 amps and the 2K Zip draws 16.7 amps! Plus, you can focus the ParaBeam with special louvers (not included). Comparable performance to a 2K tungsten fixture, cool operating temperature, ultra low power draw, and switchable between daylight and tungsten tubes.

These four fixtures were working perfectly when removed from an interior studio installation. Each includes one silver louver. They do not appear to have been used much, and the reflectors are in excellent condition and do not appear to have ever even been cleaned. Below are actual pictures of each fixture. Where there was damage evident I took a close-up of it. For example, the first fixture has a crack in the plastic trim. The third fixture has a ding to the edge which chipped off a piece of the plastic trim. I would say typical cosmetic wear and tear, and that overall they are better than average. They are very clean, and the reflectors are excellent. All were working perfectly when removed from an indoor set. No tubes. This lot is being sold as-is. No returns will be accepted. Prefer a local sale, and you are welcome to inspect the units before purchase in the Burbank area of Los Angeles (tubes will be provided for testing). Local delivery may can be arranged. Will ship all four for $125, but as I said, I would prefer a local sale so buyer can inspect because the lot must be sold as is, no returns. $4K flat, PayPal or cash.

Hi Jeremy. Thanks for thread crapping. I'd refer you to the Marketplace Policy sticky thread, located at the top of the forum. Basic forum etiquette, man.

B&H, as you cited, has the lowest price available for these fixtures. However, it is a special order item, and must be shipped from Burbank to B&H in NYC and then to the buyer. Standard delivery would be 2-3 weeks after ordering. Additionally, for a local buyer, this is an opportunity to save about $400 total. Further, I'm open to serious and reasonable offers. I would note, however, that opportunities to acquire these fixtures second hand, at any savings, are few and far between.

Didn't mean to "crap" on your thread. I honestly wasn't sure if there was something I was missing. I'm actually interested in the lights. $400 is still a savings. "Mucho take it easy!" - Nocho Libre.

Geeze...

I'm sorry Chris L., but you're mistaken. I'm registered in accordance with the forum policies. And I quote: "We prefer that you use both your full first and last name. However, you may use an initial for your first or last name (but not both)." You might note that there are (perhaps) hundreds of other members here using an initial, as I do. Do you poop in their threads, as well? Just askin'.

Anyone else feel compelled to relieve themselves in my for sale thread? Selling lights here.

Sure, why not.

Thanks for sharing your fetish, Brad. Hey, I don't judge. Whatever works for you, man.

To get your screen name changed, simply post your real name into this very thread (at the bottom of this page). By real name we mean both your first and last name, separated by a space sign. This is the preferred option. If you do not want to disclose your full name, you can initialize either your first or last name (but not both), e.g. J. Doe or John D.. If you have grown close to your current screen name, you can incorporate it into your real name — e.g. John 'CoolDude' Doe — or you can have your signature say Formerly known as CoolDude.

You are right, I was wrong. Sorry.
I can see why "you do not want to disclose your full name".

Hey, wait a minute... didn't you "crap" on this guy's thread when he was searching for a sound guy for $200?

Ok, enough of the time wasting... by the way, I never head of thread "crapping" before. LOL!

i dont get that... how is questioning your pricing "crapping"? forums are about dialougue and preferably unedited. If you post on say craigslist you get the same response when you are overpriced.

You guys really have too much free time. Challenging a price in a for sale thread is thread crapping. You want to talk price, bash it, praise it, make an offer, etc? That's what the PM feature is for. Welcome to gear forums 101. But, don't take my word - read the rules of this very forum: "Please don't pollute threads in which you have no real interest by telling someone that they are charging too much..." Now, just because one or two of you have nothing better to do, you'll argue that you weren't doing that. Seriously, go do something productive...

And no, I don't believe that my making a very brief, sarcastic comment in another thread regarding day rates (which affects everyone and is not a priced item for sale) constitutes thread crapping. But, dingleberry will disagree, and I will go play with my toys.

Yep, they're (not "there") on eBay. What's your point, justinalpern? Btw, your post is misleading. "Low low" price of $4279? That's not the whole story, is it? The listing has that as a BIN price and the option to make an offer. Because of eBay fees, the lights can not be sold as low through eBay as direct.

I've bought gear from many respectful professionals on this and other boards, and sold to many of them as well. Worldwide references available to serious buyers. As for those polluting this thread; 'preciate it.
