They can fly long distances, like 15 km!!! I can't belive. It's just absolutely new technology, mostly homemade and he can make this amazing manouvers only to watching this crapy VGA video with telemetry!! Freaky :shocked::shocked::shocked:

It looks very similar to footage from dudes with fly suits, but you barely can lost your live with this .... And yes now you can save few bucks on choppers if you can live with GoPro footage. :wink5:

The Pilot has a set of googles that shows him what the plane "sees", and he controls it with a remote which transmits the video and control data via wireless.

Cheap foam combat wing with electromotor and some other smart stuff. But you can use it on antyhing.

Its same like driving rovers on Mars via telepresence or telerobotics, but this time it's in realtime and it's cheap and small. They call it First Person View (FPV). Googles on your head has motion trackig so you can move with onboard camera like with pilots head for better view.

For bigger payload simply use bigger plane, but when its heavier it can became little dangerous missile. It can make lot of damage if you loose control. These light EPP foam things are more safe.
