  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello All!

So, my school just got their Red back from upgrading to MX, and when we bring the files onto a computer we get weird issues. The biggest issue facing us is that the images in Red Alert and on the Proxies all look like they were shot with exclusively cool white fluorescent lights. It in no way matches what we see in the viewfinder while shooting, nor what we see in RedCine X (latest build).

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and knows how to correct it.

We're running Build 30.6.

Thank you

That's because redAlert is left to die and doesn't support MX.

Remember that MX is essentially a new cam (new sensor, new AD, new encoding) in the old package...

You'll nee to go RCX or new QT plugs to work with MX footy...
