Ad in LA Confidential Magazine shot with M-X

I shot a cosmetics print ad that's in the fashion magazines LA Confidential Magazine (Fall 2010) and Zink Magazine (Oct. 2010). Full page ad in both mags. Shot in single frame mode with the M-X.

This is a low res copy of the ad the client gave me, it's highly compressed which has softened it. Looks much better in the magazines

Which lens did you use? and where did you finish the shot (photoshop, aperture,...)?

Beautiful. Why did you shoot RED instead of Phase 1, Canon, Film, etc?

Used a standard Zeiss 100mm. I did a basic color correction in Photoshop and the client did the skin smoothing.

I had previously shown the client some still frames taken from motion footage I shot for another project and when this shoot came up which needed a little video in addition to the stills, they said ok let's use Red for both. There was never any thought or discussion about using another camera or format.
