Your sony v-lock will mount and function just fine, but you will be without the on-camera battery level metering that red bricks (and certain aftermarket batteries) will give you.

In practical terms, I've used all sorts of V-locks, but you tend to end up pushing the battery level button in paranoia rather a lot ;)

No adapter needed: V-mount is a standard.

Hello again

I resaved massage from Red warring me to use other battery with red camera, here what they said :

Chris let me know that you mentioned that you are using a third party power source. I want to be sure to inform you, that while you are welcome to use third party items, we highly discourage the use of 3rd party batteries due to warranty reasons. A 3rd party battery runs the risk of sending a surge to the camera or battery plate which would void the warranty and ultimately damage an internal component of the camera and/or cable/ battery plate.

What about Sony v battery, is there really problem and can make damage with red camera ?

This is Red very reasonably defending themselves against the possibility that you plug something unknown into their camera.

I won't directly advise you to go against their recommendation, but I can share my experience, as will others, that third party v-lock batteries are no problem, although most are less convenient. The biggest risk with non-Red vlocks is an unintended power-down, causing data loss or other issues. (If you see your LCD flicker or dim, hit the power button to shut down right away... that's your ship sailing to lost takes land. ;) )
