Drool. . .

I don't see how it could get much better than that for a field recorder. 5-sec prerecord buffer, dual CF with built in backup, mirror-recording, and A/B recording. Seems to be built like a tank.

I love the DR-100 and don't see how you could go wrong with that lovely piece of equipment.

Thanks andre for the English link, I was little lazy.

Comparing to 722T, it comes with full 8 mic preamps, so you won't need extra preamps pretty much. Also you can connect PS2 keyboard, video sync (bi-sycn though), TC in/out and broadcast wav format compatible. So we are thinking recording with this and having the RED ONE MX genlocked and take the BWAV and sync in the STORM. Should be fun.

We have received the words from Tascam that we can test this next two weeks. We will post something soon.

Marc,

That is what we are doing and hope to share the good result.

We had the first day of trying. We didn't have the right cable but with a quick making up of a cable we were able to sync the camera and HS-P82.

I'm wrapping up the magazine article for HS-P82 now.

Synchronizing with RED ONE went really well and We found that HS-P82 would serve audio recording for RED ONE shoot really well. I will give more thorough report later.
