Would love to hear what you guys are using for your still photos...

I currently rock a 7D with 24-70 2.8 most of the time.

BUT also have an F100 that I love.

I have also been thinking about getting a 5D with Leica Summilux 1.4 50 as the new carry everywhere camera.

What kind of setups are you guys rocking?

PS. If this is repost I sorry.

I am sure if I went out and looked there's much more, but this should give you a good idea.

I now shoot only 35mm digital and film (Velvia or TX) for still, and Panavision and soon coming RED ONE MX for motion. Many like the medium format, and I have used Hassy's etc., but never really liked them. I did enjoy for a long time shooting 8x10 Ektachrome and Tri-X with Rodenstock and Schneier gladss on my Deardorffs, even some old Ektars had a nice look, too, but when I got into film I sold all that gear.

since I make underwater housings for all of the current cameras I tend to go through the digitals pretty quick. Have bought and sold all of the Canon vDSLRs and the only digital right now is the hacked Panasonic GH1 I bought from a reduser this weekend.

I've also recently accumulated a lot of cool still cameras while getting some Aquatica underwater housings for domes and shades that I used on the REDONE housings. I found that I could buy whole packages cheaper than the parts so I've accumulated some nice N8008s and an F4S in excellent condition that I might start to shoot with.

Got a few contax 35mm as well when I bought some packages for the Contax Zeiss lenses that I used on the redone with the birger canon ef mount

I was looking at some medium format lenses with the Epic 645 in mind and traded one of our video housings to a guy at one of our dive trade shows for a Pentax 645N and some lenses, so also playing with some medium format stuff - have accumulated a complete set of manual lenses and have the parts to make a pentax 645 to PL mount adapter.

It's kind of fun because these are really cool cameras that were too expensive to justify buying when they were in their prime (I've always been primarily a video guy professionally). These days the film cameras are super cheap. And for the cost of upgrading digital every couple years you can shoot a lot of film.

:-)

It's definitely time for a photography garage sale.

Canon 1DS and 5D with Leica 19mm, 90mm Summ and Canon 28-70L, 70-200L zooms. Lighting is a set of Profoto Acute, a set of Speedo Blackline strobes and a Speedo monolight, and a few Photoflex Starlights.

Primary camera is a Canon F-1
I've got a Mamiya 645 Pro but you have to have a reason to carry that thing around.

Also a 5D Mk2 which I use on trips when volume trumps style.

Nikon D200; two lenses, one lost lens cap replaced by the lid from a Pattack's Curry jar. Small jar.

HP Designjet Z3100 printer. Moab Entrada Natural, 300 Gm paper. Paper! I hope Roberto isn't reading this thread.

Solo Exhibitions slated for next year: Vancouver, Whistler, Edmonton, and Toronto to be fixed. New York, anticipated. ( :

I'm shooting on a 7D with two old Nikon primes (50/1.4, 35/2), a Nikon 80-200 F2.8 zoom, and a (ew) Sigma 10-20.

Not exactly an old hand at it, but just this week, I've got some stuff coming out on the biggest digital billboard in Latin America, and I've been asked to exhibit some of my natural light stuff at a cultural event next month.

I have access to a Leica M7 plus glass, and a Mamiya 645...as this gets more and more serious, I might start playing with film again.
