Reconforming prores 4444 to original R3D files?

I am in the early stages of a RED project using final cut 7 for the edit. So far I have transcoded the R3D files to prores 4444 using FCP L&T but just found out that the producer now wants to reconform to the R3D files for color correction.

First Question: In the interest of time, is it possible to reconform Prores 4444? Or do I need to re-ingest the RED media and transcode to a different prores codec?

Next potential problem…
I also renamed the reel names using the Reel field of the Log and Transfer window after ingesting--as opposed to renaming the .RDM folder and then ingesting.

Second Question: Is this going to jeopardize my ability to reconform the current transcoded files?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
