I just finished a project that I shot last summer/fall called Lighthouses of the Pacific Northwest.

You can think of it as a really long montage of lighthouses. There are 22 in total. I made a few trips up the Oregon Coast and around Washington state. The winds were 30+ MPH during some of the lighthouses. Actually had to walk 11-miles , roundtrip, across a beach to shoot one of them.
Lenses used during the project include the RED 18-50, Tokina 11-16mm (Duclos), RPP 100mm, Century S2000 150-600mm, and the Century 2x. Some of the 150-600mm stuff has some strong heat waves. I tried to get there as early in the morning as possible. That particular lighthouses was a 1.5 mile hike up a steep hill.
The lighthouses itself is 1.5 miles off shore. (Tillamook Rock)
I uploaded a chapter to YouTube in 4k. YouTube really did a number on the footage. It introduced some pretty ugly blocking during the dissolves.
It was edited in FCP and finished in SCRATCH. I used my own proprietary scaling and noise shaping to produce the final 1080p for the Blu-ray and 480p for the DVD.
