I recently participated at a Red MX camera test with Kamal Derkaoui, csc. Kamal was testing the sensitivity between Tungsten and Daylight settings in the camera as well as the stop loss with a 85 filter. According to Red, the Red MX sensor is a daylight sensitive sensor, but Kamal found that the Tungsten setting was almost a stop more sensitive than the daylight setting. We were curious about the difference, and the fact that Tungsten was more sensitive. Also, we were wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?
