FS : ET Mantis shoulder dovetail

Hello,

For Sale : Element Technica Mantis shoulder dovetail only, does not include the bars and handles.

I bought it this way because I already had blue handles, which I'm keeping. The dovetail is great, it is adjustable, in perfect condition. I'm selling it because it get's little use and I need to get some money in as I get ready to upgrade to Epic, and I think there will be a better shoulder systems for the Epic. But for a Red One it remains a great piece of gear. If you want the ET handles, you can certainly buy the complementary parts directly from ET.

Willing to lower the price if anyone is interested.

I've been thinking of asking ET what the cost of the handles and bars would be to make it a complete Mantis, is anyone interested in a complete Mantis ?

Also I might add, while as we've seen from NAB pictures, Red will be offering new ways to shoulder mount their new Epic/Scarlet line-up, the Mantis systems remains valid for these cameras and, any 35mm or F35/23, etc. cameras, as it based on an Arri base plate for easy conversion from tripod to shoulder.

Below is a picture of a complete Mantis, not the system I am selling, but it can easily be completed if you like, or you can complete my system with your choice of handles, like the new O'Connor which look very nice, (I'm holding on to my blue handles :001_cool: ).

Quote for rest of the system from ET doesn't make the deal very interesting. If you're looking for a whole Mantis, better to buy it directly from ET. If you prefer to use other handles, or already have handles and you're looking for only a shoulder dovetail, well this is your chance for a great system.
