  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi all...

I made a video for my wife's birthday recently and we shot it on RED thanks to the very generous and talented Jim Hare.

Shot at 4k 16:9/25fps and 3k 16:9/50fps. I think the lenses were Zeiss and the only light sources were those pictured behind me and two small kino's in front.

I did no processing in RED Cine-X, just straight AAF to Avid and then a very slight correction away from magenta to get the whites really white, using 3 Prong Color Fix. No additional contrast or brightness, just straight out of the camera.

I did bring her flowers a couple of weeks ago so maybe can fall back on that.

Well yeah, I couldn't recognize him you know with his shirt on an all... plus I posted before the news got to me that Hugh Jackman starred in this little video - which is probably why it got into the news in the first place.

Kris, my fiancee was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Her double mastectomy is scheduled for this Wednesday, and chemotherapy will follow shortly after that.

I showed her this video and she really liked it a lot. :thumbsup:

Something tells me that you are both going to kick cancer's ass.
