Gaspard Noes Enter the Void

Saw it today,
Some georgeous storytelling in there,
Cinematography i̇s superb.
Ok, maybe he has some seroius sexual Problems but Let's Talk about the cinematography.
Guess a lot models and some cgi wide shots, but how the city was captured at night was amazing,
I am really curious how they lit the streets, flats and clubs, all stage? Can't be, too expensive, I can imagine that a lot of lights which were in the frame were removed afterwards. The whole movie looks beautifully

I saw it twice last March. Favorite movie of the year by far. There was a lot of subtle post work done on some of the shots that look like they have no vfx. I think the look is amazing throughout.

Edit: I do imagine it will get a strong negative reaction from many of the viewers.

Was some of it filmed with tilt-shift lenses?

as far as i know, all the tilt stuff was post. some shots were rotoscoped to blur the background even more on non tilt-shift shots as well.
