Hey Everyone! so I have a question:
I'm about to conform for a lack of better terms from FCP to Premiere Cs5, my question is this:
When I use clipfinder to output an XML that works with r3d files in Premiere the problem is single relinking...it seems I must do them one clip at a time, and on a feature it's thousands of clips.
My workaround:
take ALL 6 TB of REDRAW files OUT of the RED folder structureand dump them all into a single folder, allowing premiere to find ALL media it's looking for with one click.
The downside:
1 I would hate to have to go into that 6TB of data to find anything ever!
2 Does this screw up anything as it relates to a workflow in Premiere?
3 Anyone know a workaround to help Premiere look in the folders next door that have the footage, inside the RED structure? (this seems like a bad bug..is it)?
