Hi.

Need to re-generate a ton of QT-wrappers. Usually I'd be using Clipfinder for this, but the software used to copy the files have left some files in each r3d folder, so Clipfinder won't let me - and I cannot remove those files...

Rocketcine-x does it just fine.... on a "per clip basis"
Redcine-X allows for batch, but it seems I have to do it at a per reel basis, there're hundreds of reels...

I would like to choose the folder with ALL r3d's and batch re-generate the QT-wrappers...

Any way to do this? NOT so very manually... -:)

Cheers!

I just went through bunch but done it pretty much one by one by using the short cut on Clipfinder and some I couldn't update so did it in REDAlert!.

What about deleting the proxies in Clipfinder and regenerate them? I actually having problems doing this for awhile. I remember I used to use the ROCKETCINE-X for this but it doesn't work with the latest firmware for the RR...Maybe just purchase another RR and have that going with ROCKETCINE-X just for this feature.

Doing it with redcine-x now, as I at least manage to add a day at the time...

Clipfinder won't do it, because the copy-software (not r3d-manager or anything known) has left a number of checksum + div files in each r3d folder...

I have sent Hans Georg a mail. That's where I usually would have done it...

And I am hangin on to my rocketcine-x for a little while longer.

Seems RCX doesn't love too many files, though...

No it doesn't, it likes to crash if you overwhelm the browser and it doesn't always show you all the clips in a directory unless you scroll the window up and down, forcing it to refresh the window. If they clips are not in the browser window they don't get added to a bin.

Feature enhancements are great but I'm still waiting on stability from RCX.

Still rendering/working with the RocketCine-X.

Think I have had more crashes with the newest RedCine-x today, than I had over three months pounding on RocketCine-X.

But it starts to look good.

My wish for the day, an option to choose ANY directory and ad all files in it (without crashing... -:)

Cheers!

Even with the thumbnail disabled, it's still very shaky and I don't understand why. What ever it's doing in the background when you open a directory in the browser is overloading the app.

good luck Gunleik
