  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I just got my iphone 4 and i cant get over how awesome the screen is. Ive never owned an iphone before and i played with my brothers 3GS. I cant say enough how massive of a jump it is in overall quality. Hardly discernible pixels. Very Very bright, Vibrant colors and black levels that dominate my computers lcd. (not hard to do lol) I figure there is one more step to go in screen quality before we have hit the max. One more bump in resolution on a screen that small and we will never be able to see the pixels. On top of all that, the video camera is rad, the phone is rad and i havent had any reception issues.

How are u guys liking ur new 4th generation telephones?
 
Absolutely love my iPhone 4. Always having a decent camera with you is amazing. And that screen. I can't wait to see the retina display on the iPad. Glad we are currently shooting footage that will be able to take advantage of these uber hi res screen coming down the line.

Yea I can't look at other phones or older iphones anymore. They all look fuzzy and dark in comparison. Apple has some voodoo going on with this screen

those are some amazing pictures. those macro shots are the ultimate backgrounds. u sure have gotten around in a short amount of time with that camera.
 
I went from a first gen model to the new model last week. The screen looks yellowish compared to the first gen. I've read that this might be some sort of adhesive that hasn't cured all the way yet... we'll see.
Other than that, yes, great looking pics and video!

I'm not exactly sure that all out there are happy with it ;-) but this is surely the new Super 8.

You seriously can't go back after owning the iphone4. The screen is so crystal clear I love it. I haven't had the reception issues either, so I'm enjoying my phone.

Besides the issues on the reception, what are the differences between iPhone 3 and 4?

there's a fair amount of updates between 3 and 4:

most notable to me is:
802.11n wifi
retina display 960x640
a4 1ghz processor is fast
improved battery life
and depending upon who you talk to, reception is actually improved over the 3g and 3gs (mine is about the same as 3g which is good)
 
The HD video quality is sick.

Problem is, my mind is programmed to believe that cell phone video is crap, so it's hard to remind myself that the high quality is available to me anywhere I go, and to actually use it.
