RED DIT Training Class Dublin Ireland

[Von Thomas]

I was asked to instruct a RED DIT Training in Dublin Ireland by FAS, Training Authority Dublin, and day one of three is complete. The attendees were very eager and excited to learn about RED and it's workflow. While this is not REDucation (there's only one REDucation), it is a complete RED in production with data acquisition leading into to post (from a DIT perspective). RED, R3D Data Manager, Clipfinder, RCX are all discussed at length, as well as proper use of my all time favorite "The Von CARD" (18% gray card for all that do not know). Last week we finished up REDucation #5, and it was a blast as usual, now I'm taking my knowledge and spreading the RED.

Spread the RED!!

Hadn't heard about this (Living out in the West its hard to get info) would have been a blast to go to.
If anyone is heading to Ireland be sure to come out to the real West, amazing stock footage opportunities and wildlife etc

[Edmund Boyle]

I was at the last day of the RED workflow, great presentation by Von and demonstration of his work and RED footage. Unfortunately I didn't make it for the full three days but now looking forward to Reducation (hopefully December). The last day of the presentation was held in the Guinness Store House which is the museum and history centre of Guinness (Perfect choice of venue!!) Hopefully you had a good time Von and will have good memories of your visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot.

Thank you Edmund, I did enjoy myself, Ireland is a beautiful place, both people and the land.
