Looks great. Can you fill us in on how you did it ? How long have you been
putting it together..how did you get the budget..and how did you get Lance
Henriksen ? Looks like most of the other actors you had previous personal/professional connections to.

The trailer does feel a little slow at times..but I do like the interface designs those
are very well designed and shot and the lead actor is very watchable..he holds
your interest. Congratulations..getting a feature done is an accomplishment.
Do you have another project lined up after this one is finished.

Thanks Steve,

I appreciate the feedback. It was a very lucky twist of fate that found my script in front of Lance, and after he decided he loved the story and was excited about the prospects of being able to improvise all of his dialogue, he came aboard.

The budget is extraordinarily small. Think of the smallest budget you can imagine, and then remove a couple of zeroes. I actually built the set myself mostly out of used shipping crates. The money was put together personally and with a few private investors who liked the story.

I had an overwhelming amount of volunteer support and I owe everyone involved an immeasurable amount of gratitude. Literally everyone I know came together to bring this film to this point. I can hardly wait to screen it for everyone.

Regarding what is next, I do have a couple of projects that are ready to move forward. Hopefully, once "The Last Push" is out there, it will help to inspire progression on the other projects.

I will look at the trailer and try to tighten it up a bit. I truly appreciate your note.

Best,
Eric

looks pretty solid.. I want to see it. I think the trailer is fine as is.. It's refreshing to see a slower paced trailer actually..

Amazing...

What more can I say. I would love to see the film.

Nicely done! I agree the pacing in the trailer was good; don't change it. (If you have some detailed wides of the ship in space against planets or stars or something (aka money shots), I would have liked to have seen them about 2/3 the way through.)

Thanks Erich!

Yes. I want some great money shots of the spaceship up as well. They are still in render. Hopefully within the next two weeks or so, I can add some of that in.

Best,
Eric

Wow man, the dream can happen! very inspiring!

If you want some constructive crit, I'd say your color grade needs work, a wee bit flat. Those blacks, in many shots, look a bit grey for my taste.

Hey Eric
Great job on the trailer!
Don't change it, it really looks fantastic:)
All the best with this and all other projects.

A lot of movie trailers look, feel the same to me these days. Fast cutting, similar transitions, similar sound design and music elements, etc. I like when people take chances and do something different. Nice work Eric. I look forward to seeing the movie.

Excellent job, Eric. Looks good. :-)

Great Job. Creating a look like this on a small budget is inspiring to us all. And I love Science Fiction and appreciate it when it's cerebral rather than huge action. Nice production design and nice pacing on the trailer - abstract storytelling that sucked me in. Maybe a little Andrei Tarkovsky. Our feature is coming!

Fantastic, Eric. It is inspiring to witness independent filmmakers come up with such sincere work, despite all financial constraints.

I agree with Rob about the grade - it could do with more contrast. But perhaps the dull/flat look is your choice?

Would love to see The Last Push!
