i'm betting the Coffee/ redbull budget at red is quite significant, since you guys are posting round the clock (and working round the clock), for what 4 years now?...

so you got Fincher, Jackson, Soderberg, Gibson... Von Triier... who's next...mr Cameron?

I am surprised, I thought this thread would get overrun with comments.

I want Scarlet 8X...

[Subhadip Sen]

I think everyone is simply overrunning the Recon thread. I am sure we will have some really concrete info on the Scarlet Fixed within the next two months.

[Kwan Khan]

Sweet! I'll need two or three please.

[Eren Ozkural]

This image just made my day. Thanks Jim, Jarred, everyone else at Red.

Keep up the groundbreaking work

[David Rasberry]

Wonderful news. If the way that camera maps fine detail in blacks on that Canon lens video is any indication, Scarlet will be one truly fine 2/3"camera.

[Joel Arvidsson]

Wow first i missed it was a video shot on a Scarlet 2/3" 8x
Now we start to talk!

[Felix K.]

Great news. I'm looking forward to see and hear more!

[Jaime Vallés]

More! MORE!!!! Pretty please?

[Ketch Rossi]

TWO of those too Please!!

[C. Jagan Mohan]

Wondrfulllllllllllllllllll....

[Pietro Impagliazzo]

Soon people will start seeing 3K at 120fps, fully RAW, pristine image quality, no moire, no compression artifacts, no rolling shutter madness all over the place.

[Gunleik Groven]

Video? What video?

[Steven Caesare]

Jim-

Any ETA as to when the power source for the 8x fixed Scarlet wil lbe nailed down?

I'd love it if that pic in the Recon thread of the smart-handle was what was included as the battery location in the kit...

Awesome pic...
